PowerSchool^®

We have been helping schools by providing training and consulting on Student Information Management Systems [SIMS] for almost a decade. Although we have supported a variety of such systems, over the years, our strongest SIMS expertise is with the Pearson PowerSchool^® system.

PowerSchool is a fully integrated, web-based, cross-platform student information system used by thousands of school districts. PowerSchool integrates and automates critical functions including attendance, complex scheduling, classroom grading, and reporting. PowerSchool is especially popular with parents since it improves communications among all the stakeholders in a student’s education. Since its “Parent Portal” tends to facilitate increased family involvement, PowerSchool tends to be especially popular with charter schools. A single centralized relational database makes district-wide and No Child Left Behind (NCLB) reporting easier. PowerSchool’s newest toolset, PowerTeacher™ connects the teacher web portal with a web grade book so that teachers can seamlessly manage grades, students and classrooms.
