1. Start Entourage.
On the Tools menu, select Accounts.
Select the Mail tab and click the New button.
Type your name in the Your Name text box the way you would
like it to appear in the From field when you send
email messages.
Click the right arrow button.
2. Enter your email address. Type
your email address in the E-mail address: text
box. Click the right arrow button.
3. In the Mail Servers window, enter the following information:
My incoming mail server is a POP server.Incoming mail (POP, IMAP) server: mindstorm.learningtech.orgOutgoing mail (SMTP) server: mindstorm.learningtech.org
4. In the Account ID and Password window, enter the following
information:
Account ID: your learningtech usernamePassword: blank
5. Add a name for your new email account in the Account name
text box. Check the box for Include this account in my Send & Receive
All schedule. Click Finish to save your selections.
6. Select your new account in the Accounts window and
click the Edit button.
In the Receiving Mail section, click the Click here for
advanced receiving options button.
Check the box for This POP service requires a secure connection
(SSL)
7. In the Sending Mail section, click the Click here for
advanced sending options button.
SMTP service requires a secure connection
(SSL) checkbox.Override default SMTP port: checkbox.Override default SMTP port: text box,
enter: 465.SMTP server requires authentication checkbox.Use same settings as
receiving mail server.
8. Close the Advanced sending options pop-up window.
Click OK to close the Edit Account window.
Close the Accounts window.
